News Highlights

UNCTADThe 14th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) was officially opened by the President of Kenya H.E Uhuru Kenyatta and the United Nations Secretary general Ban-Ki-moon on 17th July 2016.
Over 7000 delegates are expected to attend the conference which includes 80 ministers and 4,800 delegates from 194 countries. The conference aims to formulate policies relating to all aspects of development including trade, aid, transport, finance and technology.

The theme of the conference is; Form decision to action; Moving towards an inclusive and equitable global economic environment for trade and development.The conference runs from 17th July 2016 to 22nd July 2016.
