PmmThe Council of Governors held a stakeholder consultative meeting on the need for a harmonized County Performance Management framework ahead of the forthcoming general election in a bid to lay the groundwork for the incoming government. The meeting attended by senior County officials including Directors and Secretaries from the Public Service Board from all the 47 counties. Also in attendance were Directors of Public Administration, Human Resources and the County Executive Committee members representing different counties in Kenya and the consulting firm Price water-house Coopers (PwC).

The meeting sought to standardize the approach on Performance Management Framework in all counties by August 2017. Among the resolutions of the meeting was the decision to form an intergovernmental team to review the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) guidelines and asked all stakeholders to support the program for its successful implementation.
