The visit of the delegation which was coordinated by the Frontiers Counties Development Council (FCDC), was aimed at bringing together development partners and the member counties in order to discuss development opportunities, challenges and solutions.
The delegates acknowledged that Mandera County posseses tremendous untapped opportunities for economic growth despite the challenges posed by climate change. We highlighted the tremendous developmental achievements by the Mandera County Government in building community resilience and the avenues for cooperation with international development partners. The officials, who represent the key international development partners in Kenya, agreed to work closely with the County government to actualize development goals.
I immensely appreciate the delegates and the FCDC for the important talks and look forward to forging a close partnership in the benefit of our people"
