pfmThe Council of Governors held a meeting with  Development Partners to discuss continued support and share progress made by the Council of Governors. The meeting discussed the Mid – Term Expenditure Framework that is to be launched in February 2017, the Transition Concept Note for the Council of Governors and it inclusion into the election plans and the work plan that Council of Governors has for the 2016/2017 financial year.

The United Nations Volunteers role in providing technical support to different programs was discussed.

The Performance Management Systems (PMS) achieved in operationalizing the progress in different Counties was highlighted. This included the minimum requirements for PMS and the criteria used by Council of Governors to select the Counties that will be funded for the specific projects. The donors will support PMS in the Counties . The Council of Governors is to clearly align the tasks and responsibilities in PMS.

World Bank will provide technical  consultants for the Maarifa Centre project .

The Council of Governors resolved to invite development partners to meetings with governmental agencies on development budgets as observers. The Council of Governors will push for coordinated work plans amongst the various stakeholders and development partners.
